Small business crowdfunding firm launches in St. Louis with business competition

Amir Kurtovic Reporter- St. Louis Business Journal Email | Twitter | Facebook Debt-based crowdfunding company SoMoLend is hosting its St. Louis launch event this evening on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. That's where SoMoLend won $50,000 last February, as one of the winners of the Olin Cup Business Plan Competition. Now it wants to return the favor by giving small business owners a chance to compete for $1,000 in funding.
